Telescopic tailgate stop

Replacement

There are two types of gas-filled tailgate stops, distinguished by the grooves on the cylinder body. Stops of different types are interchangeable and are supplied under the same part number.

Due to the design features, different types of stops are installed in different ways (Ah, fig. R:22): a stop with one groove on the body is attached with a rod to the body, and with the body - to the tailgate; stop with two grooves on the body - vice versa.



To detach the stop from the tailgate (B, fig. R:22), remove the retainer from the joint and separate the ball head from the pin in the direction of the arrow (B, fig. R:22).
