There are many varieties of child seats and seat belts; KLYeenay Sofety System products are approved by the relevant organizations and recognized as one of the best.
Child seats are designed for children aged 6-9 months to 5 years. If necessary, child seats can be installed in a row (2 or 3 seats or belts) with a corresponding increase in the number of attachment points.
Most vehicles have two or three mounting points for each seat, hidden behind the upholstery or soundproofing of the passenger compartment and covered with plugs or rubber grommets. Always use the anchor points provided, if the anchor point is shared with the adult seat belt, use the long bolts included with the KL Jeenay child seat.
The attachment points for the rear seat belt of the Golf model are shown in fig. S:10. The top point is behind the side panel upholstery, the bottom points are located under the seat cushion. The outer fixing point can be filled with sealant, and the inner ones closed with adhesive tape. If additional fixing points are needed, drill additional holes in the wheel wells or in the boot floor.
WARNING: Be careful not to hit the fuel tank, fuel lines, brake pipes, wires, etc. located under the floor when drilling holes.
When attaching child seats and seat belts, follow the correct assembly order (pic. S:11). Fasten the seat fastened with four straps; short straps should be at the bottom and long straps at the top.
Adjust the straps so that the seat is as high as possible. Adjust the bottom straps without tightening too much (pic. S:12). Make sure the adjustment buckles are at the ends of the webbing of the belt.
To remove the child seat, push it into the back of the large seat and first remove the lower straps.
Adjust the seat belts so that they hold the child tightly, but do not create discomfort for him. Be sure to use a crotch strap.
