2. Cover the surrounding area with masking tape, then enlarge the hole to a diameter of 22 mm using a file or special drill.
3. Sand the area around the hole from the back to bare metal, which will ensure good contact with "weight", otherwise the antenna will not work well.
4. Pass the antenna up through the hole and secure it, paying attention to the correct installation of the key or locking device (pic. S:6).
5. Remove the rubber plug installed in the front bulkhead under the upholstery (from inside the car), behind the fuse box (pic. S:7).
NOTE. On some vehicles, the hole is covered with adhesive tape.
6. Pass the antenna cable through the hole in the baffle, install the rubber grommet on the cable and insert the grommet into the hole. The sleeve must be installed so that the cable does not fray.
