The electrical connection diagrams given in this Manual may seem unusual to the Russian consumer in that they do not have images of connecting wires. Instead, next to the image of each pin to which the wire is attached, the address of the second end of this wire is indicated (that is, the exact designation of the device and the pin number to which the second end of the wire is attached) The address allows you to accurately determine the location of the wire connection, which eliminates the need to trace the image of the necessary wires in the line tangle on the diagram.
Each element of the electrical circuit (devices, switches, relays, lamps, etc.) marked with an individual alphanumeric code (e.g. M2 = wiper motor) and pictogram (badge) according to DIN standard (Deutsche Industrie Norm), and these designations are the same on all diagrams given in the manuals of the Autodata publishing house.
All elements of the electrical system installed on the car are located on the diagram in alphabetical order in accordance with their alphanumeric codes, which makes it easy and quick to find the desired element. Contacts (connecting leads) circuit elements are marked, where possible, in accordance with the DIN standard, so the pin designations usually allow you to determine the purpose of the electrical circuit. The type of electrical connections is also shown in the diagram with special symbols.
Each wire connected to a pin is shown in the diagram as a short line followed by the connection address of the other end of that wire. The address looks like [device:contact/color section].
