Exhaust system

It is advisable to inspect the exhaust system every time any work is done under the car. When inspecting, pay attention to the reliability of the fastening of the system and the presence of exhaust leaks. To detect leaks, pressurize the system by covering the exhaust pipe with a gloved hand while the engine is idling.

Check the integrity of the rubber suspensions of the system. To do this, while pulling the exhaust pipes down, inspect the rubber suspensions - for cracks and breaks on them.

Check the mutual position of the system elements and make sure that the rubber suspensions are not subjected to excessive stress due to deformation or incorrect positioning of the exhaust pipes.
