Tool and equipment

In addition to the tools listed in chapter "Basic rules for work", you will need the following tools:

• Set of probes and calibrated rods (drills) - for checking and adjusting the starting gaps of the air and throttle valves.
• Vacuum gauge - for initial throttle adjustment.
• Vacuum pump - for testing the vacuum devices of Pierburg carburetors.
• Measuring cup, tube and funnel - to check the performance of the accelerator pump.
