Hood lock adjustment

If the hood latch does not work, the locking pin in the leading edge of the hood may not be properly installed or there is a defect in the hood linkage (see the relevant section).

Loosen both locking bolts of the main plate and slide it in the desired direction.

Adjustment of the locking pin height is carried out by turning the pin:

• unscrew the lock nut at the top, at the main plate, while holding the pin with a screwdriver;
• then rotate the pin in the desired direction.

Try closing and opening the hood, then tighten the locknut securely again.
