Removing the actuators of the heating system

Remove glove box or radio.

Remove the control buttons and fan switch.

Take out the damper (frame) from its fixing tongues.

Do not use force or use sharp tools (plastic can break easily). To remove, insert your hand through the mounting hole for the radio and push the shutter towards the interior of the car.

Using a short screwdriver, remove the locking screws on the right and left of the heating control panel.

Mark the distance at which the sheaths of the cable rods protrude in relation to the fixing clips (for example, use adhesive tape for this purpose).

Move the fixing clips of the rods.

After installing the heating drive for adjustment up and down, move both levers to the position "On" ("Zu") towards the middle where the levers engage.

Check now: Are both dampers in the heater housing closed?

In this position, secure the rods with clamps.

The operating rod of the heating system tap is set to the position "Zu" ("On") And "Kalt" ("Cold").
