Removing the heater core

The heater core is located in the heater housing under the instrument panel, see pic.

Partially drain coolant.

Remove fan. See section "Removing the fan", chapter "Heating and ventilation".

Turn the heating tap lever to position "Closed".

Remove the hoses leading to the heater core.

Remove lower instrument panel cover (see chapter "Salon"); if necessary, remove the center console (see chapter "Salon").

Sleeping wire rods near the drive of the heating system (read about it in the next section).

Remove all air ducts without exception.

To the right and left of the heater body, push back the clips

Loosen cross-head screw.

Remove the cover on the left side of the heater housing.

Pull out the heater core.

Before assembly, remove dirt and leaves from the body.

Check damper seals for damage. Replace if necessary.

Install the seal around the radiator in such a way that the heating radiator cannot come into contact with the housing and cause noise.
