Removing skins (interior panels)

Read about door skins in the section "Removing the door trim".

Rear side trim: Remove rear seat.

Unscrew the screw from behind (cross slot), which is hidden under the cover.

Remove the plug over the seat belt retractor screw.

Remove the side trim from above with its retaining clips.

Lining in the trunk: unscrew one screw (cross slot) and 2 nuts for the trunk lid supports.

If necessary, detach the rear washer holder.

Remove the trim along with its clips.

Carpet: If necessary, remove seats, center console and handbrake pad.

Raise the door sills at the doors.

The mat is attached with several clamp washers, buttons and screws.
