It is best to exercise control when the front wheels are removed.
Turn the steering wheel left or right.
stretch case (corrugation) gradually, piece by piece, to reveal cracks in the corrugation.
Check whether the retaining ring is securely seated on the outside (see fig.).
Rubber cuff (1) between the tie rod (3) and steering gear must not be damaged. clamping ring (2) must be securely fixed
Check for a secure fit on the inside.
If the cuff is defective, it should be replaced immediately (see section "Replacement of the transverse steering rod and cuff of the steering mechanism").
