On a sports steering wheel with 4 spokes, use a narrow screwdriver to carefully pry up the flexible cover in the middle.
Lock the steering wheel with the key removed from the lock.
Loosen the steering column nut with a SW 24 wrench.
Unlock steering wheel.
Install the front wheels in a straight line so that the steering wheel spokes are symmetrical.
Remove the nut and washer, jerk off the steering wheel.
A socket wrench is best for detaching the handlebar
When replacing the steering wheel, make sure that the turn signal lever is in the neutral position to avoid damaging it.
If the front wheels are mounted straight, the steering wheel spokes must be placed symmetrically.
Lock the steering wheel.
Tighten the steering column nut with a tightening torque of 50 Nm.
