The tank is in a safe place, in front of the rear axle. It is made of metal, holds 42 liters. The tank should be filled completely, even if the car does not drive daily. Otherwise, water condensation will form on the inner walls, which in turn leads to rust.
Since the fuel intake and drain lines are located at the top of the tank, it is not at all easy to remove the line and let the diesel fuel drain.
If the tank is incomplete, it is necessary to insert the hose into it as deeply as possible.
Close the top opening of the hose with your finger. Partially pull out the hose again and insert it into the container as far as possible.
If the hose is deep enough in the fuel, it can now flow out.
Sucking fuel with your mouth is dangerous to your health!
When the tank is largely empty, place the machine on stands at the rear.
Disconnect the connecting hose between the tank and the filler pipe.
Remove the hose from the tank. Allow diesel fuel to drain into prepared container.
If necessary, replace hose and straps.
