Remove the ventilation pipes between the tank and the neck.
Take a new pipeline (diameter 12 mm) for the ventilation system, cut it to 1.2 m. Then insert a spiral spring into it to prevent bending. The lug must be at a distance of 700 mm from the connecting link (top near the filler pipe).
Close the pipeline with a stopper and push it through the hole to the tank.
Thoroughly wipe the end of the pipeline so that it is clean; put a tank on the pipe.
In order for the upper end of the hose to be sufficiently elastic when put on the connecting link, it should be held in boiling water for a while.
Take a new thin hose for the ventilation system (diameter 5 mm); cut 1.2 m in length.
Also close the end of the hose and stretch it to the tank.
Put the end of the hose on the socket in the buck only after thorough cleaning.
Plug the rest of the connecting link with a cork.
Secure all pipelines without exception with threaded clamps.
A rubber gasket must be laid between the fuel tank and the tie strap: otherwise the metal will wear out, the tank will become leaky.
To protect the new tank, a special long-lasting coating should be applied to the underside of its base.
On a vehicle without a coil spring in the ventilation system (release before February 1978):
- cut off the old pipeline located between the rear axle and the hole in the longitudinal beam of the body;
- remove the upper end near the filler pipe;
- new pipeline (with coil spring) cut along the length of the old pipeline; fasten near the filler pipe.
After the pipeline is closed with a plug, pull it through the opening of the body.
Thoroughly clean the end of the pipeline before putting it on the nozzle in the tank.
Connect the new pipeline and the pipeline remaining in the machine to the connecting link and secure with threaded brackets.
