In this regard, when installing additional accessories, replacing parts and assemblies, making any changes to the design, strictly adhere to the following:

• It is in your best interest to use only genuine Volkswagen accessories, spare parts and assemblies.

These parts and accessories are specially manufactured for use on Jetta vehicles.

• Genuine Volkswagen accessories and spare parts can be purchased from an authorized Volkswagen dealer. Your Volkswagen dealer has all the necessary technical means to install such parts properly.

Mobile telephony and personal/business radio

Mobile phone and personal/company radio communications in the vehicle may not function without a separate external antenna.

These devices emit high frequency energy during operation. This kind of energy is not able to penetrate the steel body and will be reflected inside the car.

Caution: Using mobile phones and personal/company radios without a separate outdoor antenna can be hazardous to your health.

Note: The high frequency energy emitted from inside the vehicle can also cause the vehicle's electronic system to malfunction.

For the reasons mentioned above, and to limit the range of mobile telephones and personal/commercial radios, use a dedicated outdoor antenna in your vehicle.
