The spare wheel lies horizontally in a special compartment under the floor covering in the luggage compartment
The wheel is secured with a plastic nut.
Periodically check the air pressure in the spare tire chamber (4.2 bar) in order to keep it in constant readiness in case of wheel replacement.
When using a spare wheel, please note the following:
- After installing the spare wheel, it is necessary to check the pressure in its chamber and, if necessary, pump it up to a value of 4.2 bar.
- The maximum wheel load is marked on the tire sidewall. Do not exceed the specified load value.
- Due to the fact that this tire is slightly smaller than the standard one, the vehicle's ground clearance is reduced by about 30 mm. Avoid running over any foreign objects on the road. To avoid damage to the vehicle, do not use a car wash after installing the spare wheel.
- After installing the standard wheel, the compact spare wheel must be properly secured in its storage compartment.
- Because the compact spare tire is specially made for your vehicle, it must not be fitted to other vehicles. Likewise, compact spare tires from other vehicles cannot be used on your vehicle.
- The spare wheel tire must not be fitted to any other wheel, just as standard tyres, winter tyres, trim caps or trim rings cannot be fitted to a spare wheel. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the above and other parts of the vehicle.
Attention: The compact spare tire is for temporary use only, as indicated on the tire sidewall.
After installing the spare wheel, the speed of the vehicle must not exceed 80 km/h. To avoid loss of control over the vehicle, it is forbidden to carry out rapid acceleration, braking and sharp turns!
Using the spare tire for an extended period of time can result in damage to the spare wheel, loss of vehicle control and injury to occupants.
Do not use snow chains on the spare wheel. Due to the fact that the spare tire is smaller than the standard one, the installation of the chain will not work properly and thus may cause damage to your vehicle. You can also lose the chain, as well as control of the car.
In the case of a descent on the road, the front tire with a chain put on it, first of all. Remove the undamaged rear wheel located on the same side and install the compact spare wheel in its place.
Then remove the damaged front wheel, remove the chains from it and, before installing the previously removed rear wheel in place of the damaged front, put the chain on it. Immediately check and adjust the pressure in the wheel chambers.
Never use two or more spare tires at the same time.
