2. Unfasten the spring clips securing the air filter cover and remove the cover
3. Cover the carburetor inlet to prevent dirt from entering it and remove the air filter insert. Wipe inside the filter with a damp cloth, carefully removing dirt and dust, and then remove the cover from the carburetor inlet, installed earlier.
4. Cleaning the filter insert from dirt and dust must be done by upholstering the insert at a safe distance from the car. If necessary, to clean the outside of the liner, you can use a soft brush or blow the liner with high pressure, directing it from the inside to the outer surface of the liner.
5. Install the insert, clean the cover, place it on the filter housing and secure with spring clips.
Engines 1.6 and 1.8 liters
6. Unfasten the spring clips, remove the filter cover and remove the filter insert. It should be noted that in some models it is first necessary to unscrew the nut from the front mount. Inside, clean the air filter with a rag soaked in fuel, and then wipe it dry.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
