2. Connect the revometer to the engine: and then warm up the engine.
3. Then apply the hand brake and apply the foot brake, set the gear selector to the position "D".
4. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and note the engine speed, then release the pedal. Do not keep the pedal depressed for more than 5 seconds, otherwise the hydrokinetic transmission will overheat. After 20 seconds, the test should be repeated. Accordingly, for the types of gearboxes, the rotation speed of the overload should be equal to
TJA 2390 up to 2640 rpm
TKA 2340 to 2390 rpm
Attention: It is necessary to subtract 125 rpm for every 1000 m above sea level.
5. If the overload speed exceeds this, the drive forward clutch or 1st speed one-way clutch may slip. It is necessary to repeat the test in position 1, if the load speed is now correct, then the 1st speed unidirectional clutch is damaged, if the speed is still very high, then the drive forward clutch is damaged
6. Overload speed up to 200 rpm and below this value indicates engine wear or poor adjustment.
7. If the measured overload speed is more than 200 rpm less than the lower limit, then the unidirectional clutch rotor of the hydrokinetic transmission is damaged, but first you need to check if the motor is adjusted correctly. If adjustment is necessary, the overload speed should be checked
8. Turn off the engine and disconnect the revometer.
