Identification plate 1 (pic. 1) with data on the vehicle as a whole is located in the engine compartment of the engine on the right (along the car) mudguard. Chassis number 2 is stamped on the body panel in front of the windshield on petrol models, or on the mudguard near the upper shock mount if the engine is diesel. The chassis number identifies the type, year and place of manufacture of the vehicle. Table 2 above shows the chassis number as an example.
The engine number with a displacement of 1.3 liters is stamped on the left side of the cylinder block near the generator bracket mounting (see fig. 2).
From June 1989, the engine number is located on the end surface of the cylinder head on the transmission side under the thermostat.
When ordering spare parts, it is necessary to give the exact engine number, as the equipment of the machine depends on the date of manufacture and the specific version of its execution.
