Wheel replacement

To change a wheel, remove the spare wheel and jack from the recess under the luggage compartment carpet (pic. 28).



Adjust the air pressure in the spare tire to normal.

Install chocks under the diagonally located wheel from the wheel being replaced.

Install the jack under the special platform of the bottom sill beam. Loosen the wheel bolts. Raise the vehicle until the wheel to be removed is suspended.

Remove the wheel and put the spare in its place. Lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel bolts to 110 Nm.
