If the fan does not turn on, first check the thermal switch located on the left radiator tank.
Start the engine and let it run until the fan turns on. Open the cap of the expansion tank. Place a thermometer in the tank. The temperature should be within 93-98°C.
If the fan does not turn on, disconnect both wires from the thermal switch and short them together, turn on the ignition. The fan should work. If this does not happen, the sensor must be replaced and the test repeated. If this does not happen, it is necessary to find out whether voltage is supplied to the thermal switch through one of the electrical wires and whether there is reliable contact with «weight» on the other wire.
