Fuel injection systems — general information

Depending on the year of manufacture, engine displacement and some other factors (see table. 1) vehicles can be equipped with fuel injection systems - KT-Jetronic, Mono-Jetronic, Digifant and Digijet (for 1.3 l engines).

A description of the systems mentioned would take up too much space, while at the same time there is a special literature on injection systems and integrated engine management systems. Maintenance of injection systems requires certain skills, equipment and qualifications. Therefore, only a brief description of each of the systems is given in this book.
