Check toothed belt tension (see page 128). Pull out the trigger handle fully.
Turning the crankshaft, set the l-ro piston of the cylinder to TDC (see fig. 239).
Insert the measuring rod of the mandrel into the indicator and step back about half a turn. This is necessary to avoid hitting the rod if the tolerance limit is exceeded. Screw in the indicator mandrel instead of the central bolt (pic. 244) and set the indicator to 2.0 mm. Turn the crankshaft to the left by 2-3 mm. Turn the crankshaft slowly to the right until the indicator shows a lower value - this is the deepest place (cone) on the rim of the installation disc (pic. 245).
Check if the TDC position is still maintained. The allowable error is±2.0 mm.
A possible adjustment is made after unscrewing both upper bracket bolts and the rear bracket bolt. After that, the slope of the pump is changed until the indicator shows the lowest value. Check again for correct installation.
