Wishbone: Drive the ball stud stud into the pivot stud and carefully drive in the clamping screw.
Tighten the new nut to a torque of 50 Nm.
Pivot Pin: Insert the mounting collar between the two edges on the underside of the suspension strut and line up the screw holes.
Drive in both screws carefully without damaging the threads. After the screws are inserted, turn them so that they return to the marked position again. This is the only way to maintain the original camber. Otherwise, the camber will have to be re-adjusted.
Turn the special nuts on both screws and tighten them to a torque of 95 Nm without over-tightening the screws.
Helical spring: before mounting the spring, check that the protective paintwork is not damaged, otherwise there is a risk of corrosion. In case both springs are dismantled. insert each of them again from the corresponding side.
In a vertical position, fit the spring with the winding screwed inward from the upper side onto the shock absorber strut
Insert the lower end of the spring in accordance with the shape of the suspension strut disc.
Clamp the spring and put it on the suspension strut.
Mount the shock absorber bearing and other parts and put on the disc.
Tighten the slotted nuts of the piston rod while holding the rod to a torque of 40 Nm.
Wheel bearing: When installing a new bearing, spring the outside of the stub axle with a circlip and grease the inside of the bearing bore.
Place the wheel bearing housing under the press and press the wheel bearing from the outside in. Put a good gasket under the body. In no case do not apply force to the shoulder of the shock absorber. Press in the bearing until. until it hits the snap ring. Insert the circlip, but make sure it fits snugly into the groove.
Press in the hub. To do this, put the wheel bearing housing on a piece of pipe, and press the hub into the bearing. The bearing can only be supported by the inner ring of the bearing. those. it is not necessary to support the outer ring with the pipe.
Unscrew the mudguard. If it is dismantled. screw the crown designed for the anti-lock device (only with integrated anti-lock device).
Remount the brake disc.
