Removal and installation of headlights

Headlight elements

• 1 - cover;
• 2 - bulb holder of the front direction indicator;
• 3 - executive engine of the headlight corrector;
• 4 - bulb of the front direction indicator;
• 5 - front fog lamp;
• 6 - low beam bulb;
• 7 - spring wire clip;
• 8 - headlight housing;
• 9 - spring wire clip;
• 10 - high beam bulb;
• 11 - front position light bulb;
• 12 - socket of a bulb of a forward dimensional light

The headlight housing is not repairable and must be replaced completely if damaged. If only the upper headlight mounting plates are damaged, they can be replaced individually.

Removing

1. Remove the front bumper.



2. Unscrew the fastening bolts (arrows) and, pulling the headlight forward, remove it from the vehicle.


3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the headlight.

Installation

1. Connect the electrical connectors to the headlight.

2. Reinstall the headlight and secure it with four bolts.

3. Install the front bumper.

4. Check and, if necessary, adjust the headlights.

Replacing the upper headlight mounting plates

1. Remove headlight.

2. Remove the remains of the broken mounting plate from the headlight housing.



3. Install the headlight mounting plate replacement part (2) in the headlight socket (3) and screw it on (1).

4. Install the headlight.
