Removal and installation of subwoofers

Removing

1. Remove an internal upholstery of a door.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker.



3. Using an appropriately sized drill bit, drill out the 4 rivets securing the loudspeaker to the door.

4. Remove the loudspeaker and remove the remains of the rivets from the holes in the door.

Installation

1. Place the subwoofer on the door and secure it with rivets or self-tapping screws.

2. Connect the electrical connector to the speaker.

3. Install the inner door trim, making sure to fit the seal between the loudspeaker and the door trim.
