Removing
1. Remove the ground wire from the battery.
2. Remove the airbag from the driver's side.
3. Remove the steering wheel.
4. Unscrew the two screws from the lower casing of the steering column and remove the upper casing (1) steering column.
5. Unscrew three screws (arrows), remove the steering column release handle (2) and remove the lower steering column cover (1).
6. unscrew the screw (3) with 5 mm hexagon socket to release the clamping clip holding the steering column switches (4 - twisted spring, arrows - electrical connectors).
7. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the steering column switches.
8. Be aware that the coil spring remains on the steering column multifunction switch, so do not rotate the spring from the middle position when removing.
9. Remove the multifunction switches.
Installation
1. Install the switch to the steering column, but do not tighten the switch mounting bolt at this stage.
2. Install the steering wheel.
3. By moving, set the multi-function switch (2) in such a position that the distance (A) between steering wheel (1) and the switch was 2.5 mm (3 – a bolt of fastening of the switch).
4. Remove the steering wheel and install the lower and upper steering column covers.
5. Install the steering wheel.
6. Install the airbag in the center of the steering wheel.
7. Connect ground wire to battery.
