Checking the wiper blades

Check the condition of the wiper blades.

The perfect condition of the wiper blades is essential for good visibility.

To avoid deformation of the wiper blades, the wiper blades must be cleaned regularly with glass cleaner. If the brushes are heavily soiled, for example by insect residues, the brushes should be cleaned with a sponge or a clean cloth.

For safety reasons, wiper blades should be replaced every two years.

In case of frost, before each first switching on of the wipers during the trip, you should check whether the brushes have frozen to the glass.



If the wiper blades are damaged or worn, they must be replaced. Periodic replacement of wiper blades is carried out once every two years.



To remove the wiper blade, pull the wiper arm away from the glass until it locks into place. Rotate the brush 90°, then squeeze the locking bracket and separate the brush from the arm.
