Finding the location of an oil leak
1. Clean the gearbox housing.
2. Cover potential leaks with a thin layer of chalk or talc.
3. Take a test drive for about 30 kilometers.
4. Raise the car on a lift or over a viewing hole and determine the location of the oil leak by looking at the oil leaks.
5. Repair the leak and add oil to the gearbox.
