Warning: Old brake fluid is darker in color than new.
You must have 1.5 liters of fresh DOT 4 brake fluid.
The operation for changing the brake fluid is similar to the operation for bleeding the brakes, except that the brake fluid reservoir must be emptied of the old brake fluid.
Order of execution
1. Open the first bleed valve and pump the brake pedal until the old brake fluid comes out of the brake master cylinder.
2. Add brake fluid to the MAX mark in the reservoir and pump again until new brake fluid appears in the bleeder, then screw the bleeder.
3. Bleed the brake circuits of the remaining wheels in the same way (see fig. An arrangement of the union of prorolling of a brake support and fig. Using a wrench to loosen the bleeder screw).
4. When bleeding, do not allow the brake fluid level in the reservoir to drop below the MIN·mark. Otherwise, air may enter the hydraulic brake system.
5. Check the tightness of the bleeder fittings, install dust caps on them and wipe off traces of brake fluid.
6. Check the operation of the brake system when the vehicle is moving at low speed.
