• 9 - screen;
• 10 - washer;
• 11 - nut, 25 Nm;
• 12 - screen;
• 13 - lambda sensor, 50 Nm. Before screwing in, apply VW-G052112A3 grease to the sensor threads. Do not lubricate the working part of the sensor;
• 14 - clamping bracket. Mounting position. Bolted connection is located horizontally on the left side of the car;
• 15 - nut, 40 Nm;
• 17 - suspension;
• 18 - bolt, 25 Nm;
• 18 - middle and rear muffler. Factory installed as one piece. Replacement can be done separately;
• 19 - suspension;
• 20 - bolt, 25 Nm;
• 21 - nut, 25 Nm

Exhaust system of four-wheel drive vehicles with four-cylinder gasoline engines

• 1 - seal. When installing, a new seal must be used;
• 2 - screen;
• 3 - washer;
• 4 - nut, 25 Nm;
• 5 - lambda sensor, 50 Nm;
• 6 - receiving exhaust pipe;
• 7 - bolt, 10 Nm;
• 8 - the place of installation of the clamping bracket;
• 9 - junction. When repairing the front and rear muffler, separate and replace the mufflers separately;
• 10 - suspension. With retaining ring;
• 11 - rear muffler;
• 12 - clamping bracket;
• 13 - nut, 40 Nm;
• 14 - additional muffler;
• 15 - clamping bracket. Install to the stop on the front exhaust pipe (8);
• 16 - retaining ring;
• 17 - connecting post;
• 18 - support. It is first screwed to the cylinder block, then to the exhaust manifold;
• 19 - nut, 20 Nm;

Rear exhaust system on 4x4 vehicles with diesel engines

• 1 - front exhaust pipe;
• 2 - place for mounting the clamping bracket;
• 3 - clamping bracket;
• 4 - bolt / nut, 25 Nm;
• 5 - connecting rack;
• 6 - retaining ring;
• 7 - additional muffler;
• 8 - junction. When repairing, disconnect and you can use the rear muffler separately;
• 9 - rear muffler;
• 10 - suspension. With retaining ring;
• 11 - clamping bracket;
• 12 - nut, 40 Nm

Downpipe and catalytic converter for TDI diesel engines

• 1 - seal. When installing, a new seal must be used;
• 2 - washer;
• 3 - nut/bolt, 25 Nm. The self-locking nut must be replaced during installation;
• 4 - exhaust manifold;
• 5 - intake exhaust pipe and catalyst;
• 6 - to an additional muffler;
• 7 - suspension;
• 8 - seal. A new seal must be used when installing

Middle and rear exhaust system on vehicles with diesel engines

• 1 - from the exhaust pipe;
• 2 - clamping bracket;
• 3 - nut, 40 Nm. At installation it is necessary to use a new nut;
• 4 - suspension;
• 5 - bolt, 25 Nm;
• 6 - rear muffler;
• 7 - place for cutting mufflers;
• 8 - nut, 20 Nm;
• 9 - tunnel;
• 10 - additional muffler;
• 11 - suspension

• 1 - from the turbocharger;
• 2 - seal. When installing, a new seal must be used;

• 4 - catalyst;
• 5 - to the rear muffler;

The middle and rear of the exhaust system of cars with diesel engines

• 2 - from the intake exhaust pipe;
• 3 - clamping bracket;
• 4 - bolt, 25 Nm;
• 5 - suspension;
• 6 - suspension with a retaining ring;
• 7 - bracket;
• 8 - suspension;
• 9 - rear muffler;
• 10 - the place of cutting the exhaust pipe;
• 11 - nut, 20 Nm;

The exhaust system consists of an exhaust manifold, a turbocharger, an exhaust pipe, a central silencer and an additional muffler. On vehicles with all-wheel drive, a double rear muffler is installed.

The connection of the elements of the exhaust system is carried out by threaded connections or clamping clamps.
