Remote check of the fuel pump

• 1 - pressure sensor;
• 2 - clamping contact;
• 3 - additional wire with an 8 A fuse;
• 4 - flat contact of the electrical connector;
• 5 - two-core wire

A remote test is required if the electrically driven fuel pump is to run without starting the engine.

The following items are required for remote verification:

• pressure meter;
• clamp contact (crocodile);
• wire with 8 A fuse;
• flat electrical contact;
• two-core wire with a cross section of 1.5 mm² and about 5 m long.

Order of execution

1. Remove the #28 fuel pump fuse in the fuse box.

2. Connect the remote test blade to the fuse contacts in the fuse box.

3. When the remote control pressure sensor is activated, the fuel pump should start to work.
