Removing the bumper
1. Remove the grille.
2. Unscrew bolts 5 and 6 as well as lower bolts 4 (see illustration).

3. Unscrew bolts 2 and 3, which fasten both fender liner (see illustration 42.2).
4. Remove the bumper, holding it together with an assistant, from the side guides and remove it.
5. Disconnect all plugs. The bumper is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Removing the bumper bar
6. Unscrew 14 bolts of fastening of a crossbar. Of these, two are located in the center of the crossbar.
Installation
7. Bolt the cross member.
8. Tighten the eight hex bolts on the left and right sides of the cross member to 60 Nm.
9. Tighten the six socket head cap screws to 8 Nm.

Removing the bumper
10. Remove the grille.
11. Remove both fender liner from the wheel arches.
12. Unscrew bolts 2 and 7, as well as bolts 3 and 4 (see illustration).

13. Use a screwdriver to remove the two expanding clamps 5 (see illustration 42.12).
14. Remove the bumper, holding it together with an assistant, from the side guide profiles 6 and remove it.
15. Disconnect all plugs.
The bumper is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Removing the bumper bar
16. Unscrew 12 bolts of fastening of a crossbar.
Installation
17. Fasten the cross member with bolts.
18. Tighten the eight hex bolts on the left and right sides of the cross member to 60 Nm.
19. Tighten the four socket head cap screws to 8 Nm.
