Roof antenna — removal and installation

Removing

1. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the lock.

2. Remove from the top part of a back rack facing, the corresponding chapter see.

3. Remove the handle from the side of the ceiling by unscrewing the mounting bolts, see the relevant chapter.

4. Remove the ceiling lining, see the relevant chapter.

5. Pull the back of the ceiling down a little.

6. Release the plugs (see arrows in illustration) and separate them.



7. Unscrew nut 1 and remove the radio antenna from the roof. At the same time, pull the antenna wire through the hole (see illustration 45.6).

Installation

8. Pass the antenna wire through the hole and mount it on the roof.

Make sure the gasket on the antenna base plate is properly seated.

9. Screw, acting from the passenger compartment, the antenna mounting nut. Make sure the antenna wire is routed correctly.

10. Connect the antenna plugs, which have different colors. The purple plug connects the telephone wire, and the blue plug connects the navigation receiver.

Further installation of the antenna is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
