Door lighting lamp — removal and installation

Depending on equipment, door mirrors can be fitted to the side mirrors of the Golf.

Removing

1. Turn off the ignition.

2. Fold the side rear-view mirror forward from its normal position with a certain amount of force.

3. Unscrew the bolt 1 that secures the lamp 2 of the door lighting (see illustration).



4. Remove the lamp 2 from the body 3 of the mirror by moving the lamp in the direction of the arrow (see illustration) and released from the latches.



5. Remove from the lantern 2 cartridge with a light bulb (see illustration).

Bulb replacement

6. Remove a lantern of illumination of a door.

7. Remove the old bulb from the socket and replace with a new one.

8. Check the function of the new light bulb.
