Locking and unlocking the vehicle

With the remote control locks, you can lock and unlock the car from a distance.

The button on the remote control moves the mechanical key out of the handle.

The vehicle is unlocked by pressing the button. All locks, including the back door, are unlocked.

The car is locked by pressing the button.

Unlocking the back door . Keep this button pressed until all of the vehicle's direction indicators light up briefly.

Attention! The remote control can be programmed so that the first time the unlock button is pressed, only the driver's door will unlock. And only when this button is pressed again, all doors will be unlocked.

Replacing the Batteries

When the control LED does not light up when the key fob button is pressed, it is necessary to replace the battery in the key handle.

Remote control synchronization

1. Unlock the car with the mechanical key.

2. Turn on the ignition.

If the button on the remote control has been repeatedly pressed outside the range of the remote control, then the door locks may no longer be able to be unlocked or locked using the remote control.

The remote needs to be re-synced. Additional remotes can be obtained from a Volkswagen service company, where they are synchronized.

A maximum of four remotes can be used.
