Air conditioner switches
The air conditioner only works when the engine is running and the fan is on.
Use switches 1, 6 and key 7 to select the temperature, the direction of airflow in the passenger compartment and the volume of air supplied to the passenger compartment.
Keys 2 and 5 are designed to control various functions. Switches and keys are illuminated by LED lights.
1 - temperature controller.
2 - key [ECON] - enabling the economy mode. When the LED in this key is lit, the A/C compressor is off to help save fuel. At the same time, on vehicles with an auxiliary heater, this heater is switched off; on vehicles with a diesel engine, the engine coolant heating is disabled. In order to save fuel, the interior heating intensity is reduced.
3 - rear window heater switch . Approximately ten minutes after switching on, the heated rear window is automatically switched off. If desired, you can turn off the heating earlier by pressing the button.
4 - key for air recirculation mode in the cabin .
5 - heating switch . On vehicles with an auxiliary heater, pressing this button will heat the passenger compartment with this heater. To turn off the auxiliary heater, press this button again.
6 - switch for the direction of blowing the cabin.
7 - interior blower switch.
Heating or cooling the air in the passenger compartment
The set temperature is kept constant automatically.
Increasing the temperature in the cabin
1. Turn temperature knob 1 to the right until the desired heating temperature is reached.
2. Turn on fan 7 to the desired speed.
3. Set the regulator 6 for blowing the cabin to the desired position:
Interior air cooling
4. Turn on the air conditioner.
5. Turn the temperature control to the left until the desired cooling of the interior air is achieved.
6. Turn on the interior blower fan at the desired speed.
7. Set the regulator 6 for blowing the cabin to the desired position:
Maximum heating
The maximum interior heating and quick cleaning of the windows is possible only when the engine is warm.
Air conditioner
When the air conditioner is on, not only the temperature in the cabin decreases, but also the humidity of the air. This improves the well-being of the driver and passengers and prevents the windows from fogging up.
If you cannot turn on the air conditioner, then the possible reasons may be:
- The engine is not running.
- The fan is off.
- The outside temperature is below +3°C.
- The A/C compressor has temporarily switched off due to too high coolant temperature in the engine cooling system.
- Air conditioner fuse blown.
- There may be other reasons for the failure of the air conditioner. In this case, contact a specialist workshop.
