Removing
Raise the front of the car, put it on stands and remove the wheels.
Remove the brake shoe fixing pin set spring.
Knock out the fixing fingers with a punch.
Remove the cruciform pressure spring.
Remove the inner block with pliers.
Move the bracket towards the outer shoe and remove the outer shoe.
Remove the outer block with pliers.
Clean the pad pockets in the caliper. Fully sink the piston into the cylinder, trying to prevent splashing of brake fluid from the reservoir of the master cylinder. If necessary, remove part of the brake fluid from the reservoir with a syringe.
Installation
Check the position of the piston relative to the caliper: the piston must be at an angle of 20°to the bearing plane of the pads. If necessary, set the piston to the correct position.
Install new brake pads in the caliper.
Install new fixing pins, lock them with a set spring. Install a new compression spring.
Replace the brake pads on the other wheel in the same way.
Press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons to the working position.
Check and, if necessary, top up the brake fluid level in the reservoir.
Install the wheels and lower the car to the floor.
