Remove the brake disc from the hub.
Remove the protective cover attached to the suspension spring.
Using a press, press the wheel hub out of the steering knuckle using a mandrel and support ring.
If necessary, press out the inner race of the ball bearing using a hooked puller and support ring.
To remove the bearing outer race from the steering knuckle, first remove both circlips, then press out the bearing outer race with a pipe, support ring and mandrel.
If necessary, replace the wheel bearing.
The hub assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly, taking into account the following:
- put the retaining rings in place and press the outer ring of the bearing to the stop;
- press the suspension strut housing onto the wheel hub using a mandrel and support rings. In this case, the support ring should only be in contact with the end face of the inner ring of the bearing.
Replace the telescopic pole.
