Replacing the stuffing box and sealing gaskets of the spool body

Remove steering gear.

Remove the spool housing.

Using a mandrel, press the gland out of the spool housing.

Push the new oil seal on with the sealing lip towards the intermediate cover and press the oil seal in until it stops.

Replacing o-rings is not particularly difficult.

Install the spool housing and steering gear.
