Alternator Drive Belt Tension Adjustment

Loosen bolt 1 (see photo) fastening of the generator and a nut of fastening of the generator to a tension level 2.



Move the generator away from the engine so that the belt deflection is 10-15 mm with a strong thumb pressure on the middle of the belt branch.

Tighten the nut securing the alternator to the tension bar.

Check belt tension.

Tighten the alternator mounting bolt.
