Removing
Disconnect the spark plug wires and ignition coil wire from the ignition distributor.
Unfasten the spring clips and remove the cover of the sensor-distributor.
Disconnect the ignition switch connector.
Remove the ignition distributor rotor.
Remove the distributor housing flange.
Remove the ignition distributor.
Installation
Turn the engine crankshaft to the position corresponding to the TDC of the piston of the 1st cylinder, aligning the mark on the camshaft pulley with the plane of the cylinder head cover gasket (see photo).
Make sure that the slot of the drive shaft of the ignition distributor is parallel to the axis of the crankshaft and, if necessary, put it in the correct position.
Before installing the ignition distributor, turn the roller so that the rotor spacer plate is directed towards the mark on the housing, which corresponds to the TDC of the end of the compression stroke of the 1st cylinder.
Install the ignition distributor sensor in place, making sure that the distributor shaft drive shaft coupling is correctly oriented.
Replace the flange and tighten the lock nut.
Replace the cover of the ignition distributor, making sure that there are no cracks or dirt on it.
Connect the high voltage wires and connect the connector of the ignition distributor.
Set ignition timing.
