Removing
Drain the coolant from the system.
Set the engine crankshaft to the position corresponding to the TDC of the end of the compression stroke of the piston of the 1st cylinder, aligning the mark on the crankshaft pulley with the edge of the protrusion «Z» indicator on the cylinder block.
Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal.
Remove the camshaft drive belt front cover.
Loosen the water pump mounting bolts and loosen the tension of the camshaft drive belt.
Remove the camshaft drive belt.
Remove water pump.
Installation
Thoroughly clean the connector planes and install new gaskets.
Install the water pump and tighten the mounting bolts.
Install the camshaft drive belt. Make sure that the alignment marks for adjusting the timing mechanism are aligned and that the belt tension is correct.
Finally tighten the water pump mounting bolts.
Install the camshaft drive belt front cover.
Install and adjust the tension of the alternator drive belt.
Connect the wire to the negative terminal of the battery.
Pour coolant into the system.
Start the engine and remove air pockets from the cooling system, check the engine idling and ignition timing.

2 - inlet pipeline;
4 - cover;
6 - heat-insulating screen;
7 - carburetor bracket;
8 - exhaust manifold.
