Removal and installation of the luggage compartment lid lock

• 1 - lock cylinder body

The lock cylinder housing is removed in the same way as the PASSAT Variant models.

Attention: Since 10/93, the execution has been changed, but the removal is carried out as before.

• 2 - nut, 6 Nm

With a non-falling puck.

• 3 - locking tabs
• 4 - hinge sleeve
• 5 - thrust
• 6 - plug

For luggage compartment light switch.

• 7 - lock
• 8 - bolt, 7 Nm
• 9 - lock cylinder plate
• 10 - Phillips head screw
