- 1 - nut, 60 Nm
Self-locking, always replace.
- 2 - shock absorber strut
- 3 - nut, 95 Nm
- 4 - bolt
To correct the camber, a bolt with a reduced section is required.
- 5 - bolt, 45 Nm
- 6 - cardan shaft
To remove and install the left shaft, disconnect the wheel bearing housing from the shock absorber strut.
Attention: when the cardan shaft is dismantled, do not move the car, because in the absence of axial preload, the hub bearing is damaged. If necessary, install an external cardan joint instead of the cardan shaft.
- 7 — a nut of fastening of a nave of a wheel
Torque:
- 6-sided nut - 265 Nm;
- 12-point nut up to approx. 12/94 - 90 Nm + 45°turn (1/8 turn);
- 12 point nut from about 12/94.
The tightening method is described in the section «Removal and installation of cardan shaft». The nut is self-locking, so it must be replaced.
Caution: When loosening and tightening the nut, the vehicle must always be on its wheels, risk of accident! Before tightening the nut, be sure to remove any varnish deposits and/or corrosion on the threads of the outer universal joint.
- 8 - washer
Absent from the positive running gear.
- 9 - nut, 35 Nm
Self-locking, always replace
- 10 - transverse steering rod
- 11 - bolt, 125 Nm
- 12 — a support of the disk wheel brake mechanism
When working with wheel suspension; tie the caliper with wire, do not let go of the brake hose, do not twist or stretch.
- 13 - nut, 50 Nm
- 14 - brake disc
- 15 - Phillips head screw
- 16 - wheel hub
4 threaded holes for wheel bolts. Positive undercarriage: 5 threaded holes for wheel bolts.
- 17 - rotor for speed sensor
Only for vehicles with ABS.
- 18 - bolt, 10 Nm
- 19 - protective cover
- 20 - retaining ring
Pay attention to the correct position.
- 21 - wheel hub bearing
The bearing defect is determined by the following features: noise on sharp turns; difficult wheel movement with the brakes released. The bearings sit so firmly in the housing that a suitable press is required to remove and install them (workshop work). Before pressing the bearing, insert the outer circlip. Do not drive the bearing out with the pin.
