Textile upholstery: Clean the upholstery of the cushions with a vacuum cleaner or a brush that is not too soft. In case of heavy soiling, clean the textile upholstery with a dry foam agent.
Treat greasy and oily stains with gasoline for cleaning or stain remover. The cleaning agent must not be poured directly onto the material, as this will inevitably form a border. Wipe the stain in circular motions from outside to inside. Other contaminants can be removed in most cases with warm soapy water.
Faux leather upholstery: The faux leather upholstery has a dirt-repellent surface. Such upholstery does not require special care.
For normal soiling, it may be sufficient to use the following cleaning agents: soap lye or cleaning solution. Soap lye is made from water and a normal mild detergent, while a cleaning solution is made from water and a normal faux leather cleaner.
The use of a soft brush makes it easier to remove dirt from the folds on the surface.
Leather upholstery: Close the seats in bright sun and long periods of parking so that they do not fade.
Clean leather surfaces with a slightly moistened knitted or woolen cloth, without overwetting the leather and seams. After that, wipe the dried skin with a clean, soft handkerchief.
Heavily soiled leather surfaces can be cleaned with a mild detergent without bleach (2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water). Carefully, without rubbing, lightly coat grease and oil stains with gasoline for cleaning.
Purified (shiny) treat leather pads for maintenance and as a measure against the formation of static electricity, treat with carnelian (carnelian). Shake well before use and apply thinly with a soft cloth. After drying, wipe with a clean and soft handkerchief. Under normal seat load, this treatment is recommended every 6 months.
