When the lock is unlocked, all door buttons rise.
When the lock is unlocked with the key, on vehicles with power windows, all windows are lowered.
When locking the doors with the key, the buttons of all doors must be lowered. If this does not happen, open the corresponding door, release the button and close the door with the button down. When locking the doors on a vehicle with power windows and a sunroof, turn the key to the lock position and wait until the windows and sunroof are fully closed.
The doors can also be locked from the inside - to do this, you need to lower the buttons; while the button lock does not work. When the driver's door is locked, all other doors are also locked.
If the driver's door is ajar, it cannot be locked with the button.
Directions
If the car is locked with the driver's door ajar with the key, then they get into it and close the driver's door, all doors are automatically locked - while they cannot be opened either from the outside or from the inside. As soon as the ignition is switched on, the central locking will open again.
If the central locking system fails, all locks, including the fuel cap lock, can work normally.
The emergency opening of the fuel filler cap is described below.
Attention
If a car with central locking is locked from the outside, people, especially children, must not remain in it, since the doors cannot be opened from the inside. This is especially true for vehicles with power windows, since in this case the windows cannot be lowered either.
If the safety button on the driver's door is released, all other doors will automatically lock.
Locking all doors prevents them from opening in the event of an accident (e.g. when a vehicle rolls over), as well as when trying to enter the salon of unwanted persons. However, it should be remembered that locked doors make it difficult to get inside the car if necessary (e.g. to retrieve victims from a wrecked car).
