The remote control area is shown in fig. VZ1-087S. The maximum distance depends on various circumstances. Central locking and alarm work at a maximum distance of up to 7 m; windows and sunroof - up to 4 m. With discharged power sources (batteries) this distance is decreasing.
Unlocking and locking the vehicle
To unlock a locked car, get within range of the remote control, point the key at the interior mirror (infrared receiver) and briefly press the open button (arrow 1), and to lock the car - on the lock button (arrow 2).
Indication
As long as the button for closing or opening is pressed, the control lamp in the key flashes. If this does not happen, the battery may be dead, which can be replaced at a service station.
Closing and opening windows and sunroof
When unlocking the vehicle, keep the unlock button pressed until all windows open. Releasing the button stops the windows from opening. The same should be done when locking the car.
Attention: To avoid causing injury to nearby people or animals by closing windows or sunroofs, always observe the process of their closing.
Synchronization of key codes
If the car does not unlock when you press the remote control button on the key, the reason may be that the codes of the key and the receiver in the car do not match. This can happen if the key button is pressed frequently outside the range of the remote control.
In this case, the codes of the remote control system must be re-synchronized. The entire synchronization process should not exceed 20 seconds.
1 - Insert the key into the door lock and turn it three times clockwise, holding it in the open position for 0.5 seconds. Remove the key from the lock.
2 - Point the key towards the interior mirror.
3 - Press close button (2) and keep it pressed.
4 - Press the opening button three times (1), and then release the close button. The key code is now re-synchronized with the code of the remote control receiver. For control, all door buttons are lowered and raised again.
The second key may also be encoded. To do this, you must perform steps 2-4 immediately after synchronizing the first key. This process should also not exceed 20 seconds. Uncoded additional keys can be purchased at service stations.
