For winter tyres, the best tire/rim combinations are given. Winter tires can be used in all weather conditions.

For the Passat syncro, all four wheels must have the same distance traveled by the tire in 1 revolution.

Chains are used on the front wheels with summer or winter tires installed (not on spare wheel). Tire pressure see next page.
