Ignition timing values

Attention: When adjusting the ignition timing, it is necessary to determine whether the vacuum hose from the vacuum ignition timing controller on the distributor should be disconnected or left connected. The engine number and letter designation are stamped on the left side of the cylinder block.

1) For models with subsequent equipping with an adjustable catalyst: the reference value is 16'...20' before TDC; adjustable value - 18°± 1 to TDC; shaft speed when adjusting the ignition timing - 900±75 1 / min; the vacuum hose is connected.
2) Remove the hose and plug it with a suitable plug, e.g. a clean screw.
3) Disconnect the temperature sensor plug.
4) C 10/90: 900±100 1/min.
5) From 10/93: 800±100 1/min.
